PannionSeer It's difficult to pin down a specific genre, but there's elements of ambient house, dub, new age, 80s prog-pop, and even a little world music. Hazy, lazy and perfect for the sunshine and warmer weather. Favorite track: White Crocodile.

boogiedroid Perambulating, pulsing dub-like excursions, some wobbling like a jellyfish shoal or drifting like peachy clouds casting long shadows. Favorite track: Cuvée Con Vaux.

about

Paranoia and optimism push with equal force on this pressure-baked collaboration between engineer/synther Mike Petillo (Protect-U, Geo Rip, Doubler) and percussionist Sean McGuinness (Pissed Jeans). The result of multiple marathon sessions conducted in Takoma Park, MD and Philadelphia, PA, On the Ifness scans new mutant topographies of electro-acoustic rhythmatics -- rough and smooth -- across ten dilated tracks.
